[Milliways: Suite 132 Suitewarming]
Lilly and Mel have out done themselves.
There's no theme to this party, no gimmicks, other than the 'welcome to our suite and please get very drunk' idea, and this aim has been faciliatated by the huge numbers of bottles of all sorts of alcohol covering the galley kitchen. The breakfast bar boasts five huge bowls of punch, the dining table is covered in assorted snacks and dips, and brightly coloured balloons cover the floor, and, despite the best efforts by a certain boyfriend to use helium for comedy voice purposes, the ceiling as well.
The door to the main bathroom stands open, and a large pile of freshly laundered towels stand on the way to the hot tub, above which a large sign declares: clothing optional.
Mel's bedroom door is shut and locked, protecting weaponry and other valuables, while Lilly's room is opened, and her Bathroom is very clearly labelled.
Out on the balcony, the barbeque takes pride of place among a vast amount of meat, just waiting to be made use of.
The centre of the living area is cleared, but a box of Twister has been placed very obviously on top of the locked entertainment centre.

Suite 132 is open for business

He steps inside, carrying two packages.
He appears immensely interested in the balloons. And the snack table.

He blinks at her, then grins.
"I have a housewarming present. I think that is the custom, yes?"
no subject
"Nah, this is left over from the boys' shift on Monday," she explains, twirling for his inspection. "They like them, so.
"I dunno about customs, but I never say no to presents."
no subject
"That is a very good reason to wear them, then."
He passes her a package. It is relatively light.
Inside are a set of throwing daggers that spark when they hit something. Useful, perhaps. And certainly pretty.
"Saying no to presents is not something I do, either. You are very wise."
no subject
"Wow," she says, testing one for weight, and throwing it at the doorframe, where she squeals at the sparks.
"Rcoketship!"
no subject
He grins.

"You are very welcome."
He grins.
"It is a very impressive suite, in truth."

"Hey, Raven! Glad you could make it."
no subject
"I am glad to have been invited. Also, I have presents."
He hands her a package.
"It is a custom at such things as this, yes?"
no subject
Lilly hugs Raven, and then promptly rips the wrapping off of her present and opens it to reveal... bunny slippers. Not just any bunny slippers. Bunny slippers sewn to look like Bun-bun, lord of the holidays.
"Oh my god. They're fabulous."
no subject
"I am glad, I think. Bunny slippers are very comfortable. Almost better than bare feet."

no subject
"I imagine so. He is much attached to them, then?"
no subject
"Yeah, he's literally very attached to them. Which I can understand, they're very cool. Not as cool as mine, though."
no subject
He grins.
"Certainly an injustice."

"Raven. Hallo," Bran says.
no subject
His voice is innocently curious.
no subject
"You have not seen my mother, have you? Her name is Gwen, or Guinevere. She is very pale, and she has long dark hair and blue eyes."
no subject
"I have not seen her, no. Perhaps, today, she does not want to be found. Maybe you should stay here, for a bit. We could blow bubbles."
Do not ask where the container of bubble solution came from. Raven's pockets are mysterious things.
no subject
"All right," Bran says at last. "Show me your bubbles, then."
no subject
Then he blinks.
"I truly think bubbles in alcohol, like champagne, or the pink thing Mal brought, might be better."
Or so Raven has heard other humans mention. He remains unconvinced.
no subject
"Not yet, I think."
Bran sets his harp carefully on a nearby table.
"For the moment, may I try your bubbles instead?"
no subject
"Probably the wiser choice, for the moment."
He hands over the bubbles and the wand.
"Blowing them at people is particularly entertaining."
